Delete your account

Self-serve, immediate, and permanent.

You can delete your SecretNovel account yourself at any time, from the website or from the app. Deletion removes your account, every story you have started, and your usage data from our database right away. It cannot be undone.

On the website

• Sign in and open your account page.
• Under "Delete account", choose "Delete my account…", then confirm.

In the app

• Open the Account tab.
• Under "Delete account", tap "Delete my account", then confirm.

What is deleted

Your email address, your sign-in sessions, your stories and every scene in them, your settings, and your usage counters. Server logs and backups that may contain your data age out on short, fixed schedules, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a SecretNovel Premium subscription, because Apple or Google bills it, not us. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or you will keep being charged for a subscription you can no longer use.

If you cannot sign in, or you would rather we do it, email support@secretnovel.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
