The Last Calligrapher

You are the last calligrapher whose ink can seal an empire's fate—and the billionaire wants you to forge the truth.

You are the last living calligrapher whose strokes can authenticate the oldest deeds of the empire. When a billionaire tycoon demands you forge a document, you discover the ink holds a secret—a trail that leads to your missing father. Torn between loyalty and justice, you must decide: serve the man who could destroy your legacy, or unravel the truth before it's lost forever. A story of obsession, secrets, and the art that binds them.

The story begins

The elevator doors slid open onto the fifty-third floor, and the air changed—cooler, thinner, carrying the faint mineral smell of money. Marcus Blackwood stood at the window with his back to you, one hand in his pocket, the city burning gold beneath him. He didn't turn.

"You're late," he said. "Your father was never late."

The name landed like a slap. Before you could answer, he crossed the room and set a sheet of parchment on the desk between you—blank but for a faint watermark, the kind your family had pressed for three generations. Beside it, a brass key.

"Three weeks. A deed dated 1891, the Sable Grant. Your ink, your hand. No one will know the difference." He finally looked at you, and something in his eyes wasn't charm. It was hunger. "Name your price."

The key was warm when you touched it, as though someone had been holding it. On its bow, scratched so faintly you almost missed it: your father's initials.

"Where did you get this?"

Marcus smiled. "Ask me the right question and I might answer it."

What happens next is up to you.
