The Last Luna's Forge

Mature

You are the last hope of a dying pack—and the billionaire who rejected you needs the gift he threw away.

You are the last living female shifter capable of completing the ancient binding ritual that can save a dying pack. The pack's alpha—a billionaire who once rejected you with cruel finality—now kneels at your door, begging for the miracle he threw away. Every instinct screams to walk away, but the pack's survival rests on your shoulders. Will you forge a bond with the man who broke you, or let the pack fall to ash? A tale of wounded pride, impossible duty, and the cost of second chances.

The story begins

The fire in the great hall cracked and spat, sending shadows writhing across the timbered walls. You stood at the center of it all, the weight of every gaze in the room pressing against your skin like a second hide. Elias Voss stood across from you, his silver eyes unreadable, his jaw tight beneath the groomed line of his beard.

"Say it plainly," you said, your voice cutting through the murmur of the pack elders. "You didn't summon me here for pleasantries."

A muscle jumped in his cheek. "No."

Mara stepped forward, her silver hair catching the firelight, her voice honeyed and sharp as a blade. "The full moon rises in four days. The spirit grows restless. Without the binding—"

"I know what's at stake," you interrupted, and the room went still. You turned back to Elias, letting him see the years of bitterness in your eyes. "The question is what you're willing to pay for it."

Something flickered in his expression—pain, or perhaps hunger. He took a step closer, close enough that you caught the scent of pine and smoke and something darker beneath. "Name your price."

What happens next is up to you.
