The Bone Debt

You return to your clan's graveyard to find your father sold a sacred treasure—and your family's bones are bound to a ruthless collector.

After a decade in exile, you come home to a wasteland graveyard that should be sacred—only to learn your father traded its most treasured relic to a collector who now owns a contract over your family's bones. To reclaim the treasure and your honor, you must descend into a cursed necropolis where your ancestors' remains rise to block your path. Every relic you touch tightens the oath that binds you, turning each step into a bargain with the dead. In this survival adventure, you'll face impossible choices that test loyalty, legacy, and the price of redemption.

The story begins

The wind carried the smell of old dust and older bone as you crested the last dune, the Necropolis sprawling below like a wound in the earth. Figures swarmed the outer crypts—Collector's men, their shovels biting into ancestral ground. Your hand went to the hilt of your knife, knuckles white.

"Ten years." The voice came from behind you, dry as the air. Sable. She stood on a jut of stone, her dark hair whipping in the grit, eyes narrowed against the sun. "You pick a fine time to come home, wanderer."

You didn't turn. "They're digging."

"They've been digging for a week." She dropped to the sand beside you, her shoulder brushing yours. "The Collector's got a contract. Your father's signature." She paused, and you caught the flicker of something—fear, maybe—in her steady gaze. "He's waiting for you at the sanctum door. Says the dead will rise if you don't honor it."

Below, a shout went up. One of the workers stumbled back from a crypt, clutching his arm. Blood seeped between his fingers, black in the harsh light. The bones at the entrance had shifted, rearranged into a barrier of jagged edges.

The dead were listening.

What happens next is up to you.
