The Glimpse

You surface with a shard of black glass that reveals your own future—and the catastrophe that sank the old cities was no accident.

You are a salvage diver in the Sundered Trenches, pulling relics from the ruins of drowned civilizations. On a routine descent, you find a shard of black glass that shows you a vision of your own death—and a truth that shatters everything: the apocalypse that swallowed the old world was a harvest, and you are the next crop. Now, hunted by forces that know what you've seen, you must outpace fate itself and uncover the conspiracy before the glass's prophecy comes true. Dive into a world of sunken treasure, buried secrets, and impossible choices where survival is only the beginning.

The story begins

The tug line snapped taut against your harness with a jolt that rattled your teeth, the submersible's winch groaning overhead. You'd been drifting through the drowned spine of what was once a cathedral district, its spires now furred in pale anemones, when your lamp caught it—a fracture in a collapsed bell tower, a cavity the silt hadn't claimed.

You kicked through, the suit's servos humming a familiar counterpoint to your pulse. Inside, the water was still, the dust of a century suspended like frozen breath. Your glove brushed the muck, and there it was: a shard of black glass, the length of your forearm, its edges impossibly clean.

Your name is Asher Vane. You've salvaged everything from anchors to hope from these trenches dove after dive, since that day the Meridian went down with your crew. But you'd never seen glass that swallowed the light.

The moment your fingers closed around it, the dark flared white.

You saw yourself old, breathless, drowning in a chamber of rust and bone—your own face, your own voice, whispering, "They harvested them. All of them."

You surfaced from the vision gasping, the shard cold and heavy in your fist.

What happens next is up to you.
