The Shattered Compass

Your whole life was a stage, and now the mirrors want to rewrite you.

You thought you were a simple glassblower, until strangers arrive claiming your childhood home is a stage, your family actors, and your entire memory a compass aimed at a buried treasure. To find who built your life, you must cross the Plains of Shattered Mirrors, where each reflection tries to rewrite you. A survival adventure across a surreal landscape, where every shard holds a truth and every truth comes at a cost.

The story begins

The furnace roared, and you moved with the rhythm of a lifetime—or what you'd been told was a lifetime. Your breath fogged the air as you pulled the blowpipe from the fire, the molten glass a blinding orange that painted your workshop in dragon-light. The village of Ashfall lay quiet beyond your walls, but the two strangers at your door had shattered that silence hours ago.

Your childhood home is a stage. Your family, actors. Your memory is a compass—and it points to the treasure.

You'd laughed. Then you'd looked at the glass in your hands and realized you couldn't remember who taught you this craft.

Now, the pipe cooled in your grip. The shape you'd been forming—a delicate swan, your signature piece—looked wrong. The neck curved in a way you'd never made before. A curve that matched the stranger's map.

The door creaked. Kael's shadow stretched across your floor.

"You feel it, don't you?" His voice was low, hungry. "The glass remembers what you forgot."

Your fingers tightened. The swan's neck snapped.

What happens next is up to you.
