The Tide Singer's Secret

You are the last siren, and the only way to save the world is to reveal yourself—one song at a time.

In a world where the sea rises with a hunger that only your voice can tame, you are the sole heir to a lost lineage of sirens. Hunters stalk you, coastal cities crumble, and the only path to safety lies through the very waters you must master. Every melody you sing reveals a part of your hidden identity, and the cost of salvation may be your sanity. A tale of survival, sacrifice, and the impossible choice between who you are and who you must become.

The story begins

The salt wind whips your hood back as you press yourself flat against the cliff's cold stone. Below, the harbor town of Grayhaven sprawls beneath a bruised dawn sky—and there, at the water's edge, the hunters fan out like a net. Three of them, in their oilskin coats and brass-tipped harpoons, checking every upturned boat. Their leader, a woman with a scarred jaw, pauses at the tide line and stares out at the churning sea.

You feel it then. The pull. The song that lives beneath your ribs, restless and hungry for release. It would be so easy to open your mouth and let it pour out—to calm the waves, to draw the hunters' eyes toward the deep where you could vanish. But the last time you sang, you woke three days later with sand in your lungs and no memory of the night between.

A gull cries overhead. The scarred woman turns, her gaze climbing the cliff—

Straight toward you.

What happens next is up to you.
